1-2 - National Det sends Rangers over the fiscal cliff

This game probably won't make the Rangers' 2015 World Series Championship DVD highlights

The Rangers had only three hits in this game. That's way better than Opening Night so they've got that going for them. The first hit came as a bunt single to lead off the game and then the Rangers went hitless until Delino DeShields Jr. collected the first hit of his career with an infield single on an excuse-me swing in the 8th. In between those hits, Texas was thoroughly dominated by Scott Kazmir. Prince Fielder added a double in the 9th to provide us with a glimmer of hope to keep us striving for a better tomorrow.

The Rangers also committed four official errors in the field to go along with a billion other miscues. The less said about this game the better.
