Mitch Moreland activated, Jake Smolinski optioned

The Rangers have activated first baseman Mitch Moreland from the disabled list, and he is in the starting lineup today. Jake Smolinski has been optioned.

The Texas Rangers have activated first baseman Mitch Moreland from the disabled list, and he is in the starting lineup tonight for the Rangers (assuming that the game isn't rained out).  Jake Smolinski has been optioned to AAA Round Rock to make room for Moreland on the active roster.

Tonight's lineup:

Choo -- RF

Elvis -- SS

Prince -- DH

Beltre -- 3B

Moreland -- 1B

Peguero -- LF

Chirinos -- C

Field -- 2B

DeShields -- CF

Yovani Gallardo is the starting pitcher.
