2015 Texas Rangers draft: Baseball America has their latest mock draft out, and project Dillon Tate going to the Rangers at #4.
Tate, a junior from UC-Santa Barbara, was projected to go #1 overall in BA's first mock draft, but they've had him going to Texas at #4 in the last two versions. Interestingly, they've got Illinois lefthander Tyler Jay going #1 overall to the Diamondbacks. Tate is considered to be one of the top three talents on the board, along with Brendan Rodgers and Dansby Swanson, and the consensus seems to be that Texas will take whichever one of those guys drops to them. If none of them do, then there's no telling what the Rangers will do, although they seem to have been linked quite a bit with Vanderbilt RHP Walker Buehler and Missouri State RHP Jon Harris.
