Good morning, everyone...

The Rangers beat the Yankees yesterday, 10-9.

Jeff Wilson's game story talks about Prince Fielder going deep twice on the one year anniversary of his decision to undergo neck surgery.  It was the first time Fielder has had a two homer game as a Ranger.

The Rangers' website game story also focuses on the performance of Prince Fielder.

Gerry Fraley's game story talks about the work of Ross Ohlendorf in the 9th and the home runs from Prince.

Ross Ohlendorf said it was "exciting" to pick up his first career save yesterday.

With Kyle Blanks going on the d.l. yesterday, Jake Smolinski was recalled from AAA to take his place.

The Rangers could have called up Josh Hamilton instead of Smolinski, but opted instead to let him get more at bats this weekend before, most likely, activating him on Monday.

The Rangers placed Kyuji Fujikawa on release waivers yesterday.

The S-T's notes talk about Josh Hamilton, Delino DeShields, Jr., Nick Martinez and Kyuji Fujikawa.

The DMN's notes hit on Nick Martinez, Lewis Brinson and facing C.C. Sabathia.
