Smolinski returns to lineup against lefty Sabathia

Jake Smolinski, recalled yesterday to replace the d.l.'d Kyle Blanks on the 25 man roster, gets the start today against Yankee lefthander C.C. Sabathia

Jake Smolinski was recalled yesterday to replace d.l.'d 1B/OF Kyle Blanks, and is in the lineup today against lefthander C.C. Sabathia.  Leonys Martin is starting the day on the bench, along with Tommy Field and Robinson Chirinos.

The lineup:

DeShields -- CF

Choo -- RF

Prince -- DH

Beltre -- 3B

Moreland -- 1B

Elvis -- SS

Rosales -- 2B

Corporan -- C

Smolinski -- LF

Nick Martinez is the starting pitcher for the Rangers for today's noon central time start.
