Leonys Martin back in the lineup tonight

After sitting yesterday, Leonys Martin is back in the lineup for the Rangers today

Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

Leonys Martin, who sat yesterday against righthander Shaun Marcum, is back in the lineup today, leading off and playing center field.

Josh Hamilton being activated has led to some speculation that Leonys could lose playing time in center to Delino DeShields, Jr., who has been red-hot in the month of May while getting regular playing time.  Leonys has struggled offensively early on this season, and there are already some indications he and DeShields will be platooning.  If Leonys doesn't get his bat going, he could see himself sitting more and more often against righties, even with the defensive advantage he has over DeShields.

Today's lineup:

Leonys -- CF

Choo -- RF

Prince -- DH

Beltre -- 3B

Hamilton -- LF

Moreland -- 1B

Elvis -- SS

Corporan -- C

Field -- 2B

Wandy Rodriguez is starting, which is why Carlos Corporan is starting for the second straight game -- Corporan started yesterday's day game after a night game, and Jeff Banister has been pairing Corporan with Wandy since Wandy came up.

RHP Danny Salazar starts for Cleveland.
