Hanser Alberto gets his first major league start today

Newly arrived Hanser Alberto will make his major league debut today, playing shortstop and batting ninth

Hanser Alberto was called up to the big leagues yesterday, and will make his major league debut today, as he is in the starting lineup at shortstop.  This is the first day off of the season for Elvis Andrus.

The lineup:

Leonys -- CF

Choo -- RF

Prince -- DH

Beltre -- 3B

Hamilton -- LF

Moreland -- 1B

Chirinos -- C

Rosales -- 2B

Alberto -- SS

Yovani Gallardo pitches for Texas, with knuckleballer Steven Wright pitching for Boston.
