Good morning. I was thinking about how last night's game was a very unlikely win but then I remembered that it was just the Astros remembering their place.

T.R. Sullivan writes about stars like Ross Detwiler, Delino DeShields, and Jake Smolinski leading the Rangers to a 2-1 win over Houston last night.

Katy Clarke recaps the Rangers putting an end to the Astros' adorable 10-game winning streak.

Evan Grant writes that, after a month of feeling things out, Jeff Banister took the wheel and drove the Rangers to a gritty, gutsy win.

T.R. Sullivan notes that Detwiler had by far his best start of the season in holding the Astros to a run over seven innings and tying a career high in strikeouts with seven.

Anthony Andro updates us on Josh Hamilton and writes that the Rangers have been receiving good reports from extended spring training in Surprise where Hamilton has been training.

On the other hand, as Grant writes, Hamilton went 0-4 with a strikeout and three ground ball outs in his first game action in Arizona yesterday.

Andro writes that GM Jon Daniels will take a critical eye toward the club this week and basically says they'd better get busy hitting or get busy eyeing the nearest Chipotle in the minors.

Jeff Wilson has more from Daniels as he's looking to see production from what has basically been an entire roster of underachievers thus far.

T.R. Sullivan previews tonight's game against the Astros as the Rangers have yet another chance to win a series and consecutive games for the first time. Scott Feldman and Wandy Rodriguez square off and no this isn't 2009. Feldman is an Astro and Rodriguez is a Ranger.

Lastly, hey neat, Rangers Nelson Cruz and Adrian Gonzalez shared league Player of the Month honors with the Mariners and Dodgers. How kind of them.

Have a nice Cinco de Mayo.
