Kyle Blanks activated and hitting cleanup, Spencer Patton optioned

The Texas Rangers have activated Kyle Blanks from the 15 day disabled list today.  To make room for him on the 25 man roster, pitcher Spencer Patton has been optioned to AAA Round Rock.

This gets the Rangers back to having a 4 man bench and 7 man bullpen.

Blanks is also hitting cleanup today, with lefty Scott Kazmir starting for the A's.
