One year ago today, Richard Durrett passed away suddenly of a brain aneurysm at the age of 38.
I still remember that day, the shocking news that seemed so unreal. Richard was one of the really good people in the business, and his passing, at way too young of an age, still hurts.
On the anniversary of his passing, Mike Peasley is hosting a get together at BWW in Addison to watch the Rangers game and talk about Richard:
ICYMI We are having a Rangers watch party tonight at 9 at Buffalo Wild Wings in Addison as we share stories about Richard Durrett
— Mike Peasley (@PeasESPN) June 17, 2015
It should be a fun get-together, and our friend Tepid -- who wrote about Richard after his passing -- will be there, so its a chance to meet him as well.
And just a reminder, there's a Do It For Durrett event on July 9, where you can bid on, among other things, the dress of Emily Jones that Elvis ruined a couple of weeks back.
