The Rangers have a day game today, part of a grueling stretch where they played in Los Angeles Thursday night, ended the game around midnight Central, flew to Chicago, got in around 6:00 a.m. Central yesterday, played a night game last night, and are now playing a 1:10 p.m. game today. It wouldn't be shocking if the players are dragging a bit today.
One player who appeared off a bit yesterday was Joey Gallo, who struck out in all four at bats and made an early error at third base. He's getting the day off against lefty Carlos Rodon.
The lineup:
Choo -- RF
Elvis -- SS
Prince -- DH
Moreland -- 1B
Rua -- LF
Rosales -- 3B
Leonys -- CF
Corporan -- C
Odor -- 2B
Nick Martinez starts for Texas.
