37-33 - Rangers hate their fathers, finish lefty-heavy trip with loss

The Rangers won games started by Clayton Kershaw and Chris Sale but lost the other three games on this trip

Kamil Krzaczynski-USA TODAY Sports

I guess you can't be too mad about a 2-3 road trip where your team faces Clayton Kershaw, Zack Greinke, Chris Sale, Carlos Rodon, and Jose Quintana and your right-handed secret weapon is Adam Rosales.

Still, every game the Rangers lost was by one run and one of those came on a walk-off balk, another when the winning runs ultimately scored on an error, and another, today's game, where the team led until a blooper fell and then ultimately lost on a walk-off homer after having plenty of chances in extras. What, are the Rangers the A's suddenly?

Player of the Game: Leonys Martin broke out of a 0-21 slump with a line drive home run in the 7th inning that tied the game 2-2. He also singled in the 9th. Unfortunately, the Rangers weren't able to plate the winning run.
