Matt Harrison made another rehab start for Frisco today, and had mixed results, going 6 IP while throwing in the 84-87 mph range with his fastball, and leaving the game with three runs in and the bases loaded with no one out in the seventh.
It appeared that Harrison was going to be done after six innings, as he had thrown almost 100 pitches and there was a lengthy delay while the home plate umpire was tended to and then replaced due to what appeared to be heat-related issues. But he went back out and gave up three singles -- one infield, one bunt, one regular -- and was then removed at 104 pitches, 64 of them strikes.
Harrison walked 3 batters and struck out 3, and his command was, per reports, spotty. Midland scored 3 runs in the second, but then Harrison settled down, allowing just two outs from the 3rd through 6th innings.
Josh Harrison Hamilton is also rehabbing with Frisco today, and as of this moment, is 1 for 3 with a K and a walk.
