Thursday morning Rangers stuff

Thursday morning Rangers news and links

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Yesterday's game was unpleasant.

Anthony Andro's game story has quotes from Wandy Rodriguez saying he couldn't locate his pitches yesterday.

Jeff Wilson's game story talks about the possibility that Wandy Rodriguez could end up the odd man out when its time to add Matt Harrison or Martin Perez to the major league rotation.

Gerry Fraley writes that Wandy put the Rangers in a difficult spot at a time when the Rangers are having injuries and their schedule catch up with them.

Evan Grant has some post-game thoughts, including wondering if Wandy could be d.l. bound after that game.

Michael Choice was called up yesterday because not only was Shin-Soo Choo unavailable, but Adam Rosales was sick.

Matt Harrison and Josh Hamilton both appeared for Frisco yesterday as part of a rehab stint.

Josh says he's happy with how yesterday's rehab appearance went.  Now he just has to see how he feels today.

Wilson writes that Harrison is looking for a way to start off as effectively as he's been ending up.

Matt Mosley asks whether the Rangers should be pursuing Cole Hamels.

Evan wonders whether there's something physically wrong with Mitch Moreland and Shin-Soo Choo, and asks if Keone Kela is being overworked.  Kela says he's not tired, though.

The S-T's notes talk about Colby Lewis, Michael Choice and Delino DeShields.
