The losing streak is over at last as Yovani Gallardo has now thrown 23 1/3 consecutive scoreless innings. Gallardo is quietly having a fantastic season for the Rangers.

Now 7-6 on the year, Gallardo has turned it on in June in particular. After a so-so April and May, Gallardo has now thrown seven straight games of at least five innings while allowing two or fewer runs. The last time Gallardo allowed a run was on June 10 in Oakland. In June, Gallardo has allowed just three total runs in 33 1/3 innings while not allowing more than five hits in any start this month.

Player of the Game: In addition to Gallardo's much-needed 8 1/3 innings of shut out baseball, Mitch Moreland, Robinson Chirinos, and Rougned Odor all donged off Jays' pitching to contribute to the win.
