You know what sucked about 2014 besides all the injuries and losses? It felt like the Rangers didn't have any depth because all their best young players on the farm were a year or so away. It's a year or so later. The Rangers have not just depth now, the Rangers have good young players performing for them.
The Rangers are in sole possession of second place in the AL West and are three games over .500 for the first time since May 4 last season. The Rangers are now only 4.5 games out of first place.
Player of the Game: Chi Chi Gonzalez has thrown 14.2 innings in the Major Leagues and has not allowed a run. Chi Chi has allowed only five hits. Chi Chi is 2-0 with the first complete game shutout by a Ranger in 2015 in only the second start of his career. Wow!
