42-45 - Tolleson blows first save as Rangers keep losing at home

Not even two Mitch Moreland dingers were enough for the Rangers as the Padres rallied to beat Texas in the 9th

Shawn Tolleson's closer music always seemed like a jinx waiting to happen. A 9th inning two-out, two-run home run by former farmhand Yangervis Solarte seems particularly deflating for the Rangers as they were a closing in on a series win and their second straight win at home which would have given them a chance to enter the All-Star break with a .500 record.

Player of the GameMitch Moreland hit two dingers in a game for the third time in the Rangers last 11 games. Summer slump Mitch may just be a thing of the past. Also, no one wants to see Josh Donaldson in the Home Run Derby. Get Mitch Moreland in there.
