Shawn Tolleson's closer music always seemed like a jinx waiting to happen. A 9th inning two-out, two-run home run by former farmhand Yangervis Solarte seems particularly deflating for the Rangers as they were a closing in on a series win and their second straight win at home which would have given them a chance to enter the All-Star break with a .500 record.

Player of the Game: Mitch Moreland hit two dingers in a game for the third time in the Rangers last 11 games. Summer slump Mitch may just be a thing of the past. Also, no one wants to see Josh Donaldson in the Home Run Derby. Get Mitch Moreland in there.
