43-47 - Colby Lewis, Odor lead feisty Rangers past Astros

With a week to recharge his bionic hip, Colby Lewis led the Rangers to their first win since the Friday before last

Colby Lewis had a week between starts with the All-Star break and he showed what a little rest can do for the old man. Or, maybe it's because Colby kind of owns the Astros at Minute Maid. Either way, Colby went 7 1/3 innings of two-run ball with 7 Ks against one of the better offenses in the AL.

After the Rangers stranded a couple of runners in the first inning, Roogie Odor hit a long two-run bomb in the 3rd to get Texas on the board. With the LOB monkey off the team's back, Robinson Chirinos and Josh Hamilton would also homer for Texas as they picked up their first win of the second half in spite of another near bullpen meltdown.

Player of the Game: Odor went 3-5 with the aforementioned upper tank blast and also a triple moments after he got in an altercation with Astros catcher Hank Conger which led to a benches clearing shoving match and this:
