44-49 - Choo hits for cycle, Harrison cements comeback with first win

Matt Harrison pitched six scoreless innings at Coors Field to pick up his first win in over 14 months...oh, and Shin-Soo Choo hit for the cycle

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Burying the lede here for a moment but Matt Harrison won his first game since May 8, 2014 and pitched six innings of shutout baseball for the first time since Aug 24, 2012.

Way to go, Matt!

Led by Delino DeShields and Shin-Soo Choo at the plate, the Rangers picked up where they left off last night by scoring runs in bunches in the thin air of Colorado. DeShields is rapidly becoming a big part of the future here and tonight he went 4-6 with a double and triple from the leadoff spot.

Player of the Game: Perhaps Choo felt more at home in an NL park as he went 4-5 while hitting for the cycle but he hasn't built up enough good will to pick him over Matt Harrison winning a game after his long comeback effort.
