Nomar Mazara homered once last night, Joey Gallo homered twice last night, and you can see all three here

One of the things that we have heard for quite some time in regards to the Cole Hamels trade rumors was that the Phillies really, really wanted outfielder Nomar Mazara, and the Rangers would not part with him.  Once the deal finally went down, Texas still had Mazara, and Nomar celebrated last night with an opposite field home run:

Mazara is now hitting .290/.357/.453 on the season for AA Frisco, with 38 walks and 86 Ks in 412 plate appearances.  Oh, and he's doing this despite not turning 21 until this coming April.

Meanwhile, Joey Gallo had a pair of home runs yesterday for Round Rock, which you can check out below:

Gallo had been struggling of late, but after his two homer game yesterday, he's now at .194/.312/.462.
