The 2015 Hickory Crawdads pitching staff has been doing some things this season...they have the best ERA in the league (as well as the best record in the Sally League), and are doing so largely behind guys who are legitimate prospects.

Luis Ortiz, of course, we were excited about coming into the season, and he's been great when he's been on the mound (although he's been shut down with some arm soreness).

Brett Martin has continued to generate buzz as a lefty groundball machine who people think was a steal in the 4th round last year.

Ariel Jurado has put himself on the map with a terrific year in full season ball as a 19 year old.

Yohander Mendez continues to show that the only thing holding him back is his health, and is poised for a potential breakout season next year if he can stay in the rotation.

And you have Collin Wiles and David Perez doing solid work while slipping under the radar (although Perez is now having to deal with the pitcher's nightmare that is High Desert).
