Cole Hamels to start on Monday

Cole Hamels will start for the Rangers on Monday, according to the usual folks on Twitter.

Hamels was scratched from his last start on Thursday due to a groin issue, with Chi Chi Gonzalez making the start instead.  Gonzalez is scheduled to start Tuesday, and Martin Perez is scheduled to go Wednesday.

However, that could be subject to adjustment, as Derek Holland says he is ready to re-join the major league rotation.  Since he started on Friday for Round Rock, if he were to be activated, he could start on Wednesday, which would allow the Rangers to slide Perez back a day.
