Good morning, everyone...

Texas fell to the Tigers last night, 4-0.

Jeff Wilson's game story laments the Rangers' inability to do anything against Tigers starter Alfredo Simon.

Fraley talks about Simon shutting down the Rangers last night.

Prince Fielder said that going to Detroit, where he played for two years prior to being traded to Texas, isn't any different than going to any other city to play.

Josh Hamilton went on the disabled list yesterday due to lingering pain in his knee.  Replacing Hamilton on the 25 man roster was Will Venable, who was acquired from the Padres earlier this week.

Venable says he's ready to do whatever the Rangers need him to do.

Jon Daniels says that the Rangers now have a solid bullpen, and this shows that you don't have to devote huge resources to building a good pen.

The S-T's notes talk about Hamilton, Prince Fielder, and the Tigers rotation
