Prince, Elvis get a day off against lefty Boyd

With lefthander Matt Boyd starting for the Tigers today, Prince Fielder is getting a day off, as well as shortstop Elvis Andrus

The Tigers are starting lefthanded pitcher Matt Boyd today, and so Jeff Banister is giving Prince Fielder the day off, as well as sitting outfielder Will Venable.  Elvis Andrus is also getting his first day off since June -- this is just the third time he's been out of the lineup this year.

The lineup:

DeShields -- CF

Choo -- RF

Beltre -- 3B

Moreland -- 1B

Napoli -- DH

Odor -- 2B

Strausborger -- LF

Gimenez -- C

Alberto -- SS

Cole Hamels is on the mound.
