Video: Lewis Brinson had a home run for Frisco yesterday against the Midland Rockhounds, his 6th of the year.
Brinson is now hitting .291/.328/.545 in 28 games since being promoted to AA Frisco. Brinson was someone who had a strong spring, and was seen as being a potential breakout guy this year, but leg issues sidelined him for much of the first couple of months of the year. When he's been on the field, though, he's been great -- he had a .337/.416/.628 slash line for High Desert in 64 games prior to being promoted, and his defense in center gets great reviews.
