Outfielder Lewis Brinson, infielder Drew Robinson and C/1B/DH Alex Burg have been promoted from AA Frisco to AAA Round Rock.

The most notable of the trio is Brinson, who was promoted to AA Frisco from high-A High Desert only a month ago.  The center fielder has impressed with his bat and his glove since moving to AA, and will be re-joining his one-time Hickory teammate Nomar Mazara in the Express outfield for the end of the PCL season and the playoffs.

Drew Robinson, 23, was the Rangers' fourth round draft pick in 2010.  Robinson has played mostly second base this year for Frisco, putting up a .231/.360/.454 slash line with 21 homers, 83 walks and 139 Ks in 519 plate appearances.

Burg, 28, was signed as a minor league free agent this past offseason.  He has split the year between High Desert and Frisco, and has a combined .287/.389/.526 line between high-A and AA this year.
