Ryan Rua recalled from AAA Round Rock

Ryan Rua has been recalled from AAA Round Rock, according to John Blake on Twitter.

Rua, a right handed hitter who can play all four corner spots as well as second base, started the year as the Rangers everyday left fielder.  However, he broke his ankle the first week of the season, and after getting healthy, it took him a couple of months to get his swing back, as he struggled both in the majors and, after being sent down, in the minors.

Rua has hit better of late for around Rock, however, and gives the Rangers a decent RH bench bat who also provides them with some extra infield depth.  We may see him get a start in the outfield against a left handed pitcher instead of Ryan Strausborger.
