Folks are high on Lewis Brinson, Nomar Mazara

Nomar Mazara and Lewis Brinson are each the subject of positive blurbs today

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Yes, yes, the Texas Rangers are fighting for a playoff spot, and so I'm sure no one is focusing TOO much on the minor leagues at this point...

However, just in case you are interested, positive buzz continues to bubble around AAA outfielders Lewis Brinson and Nomar Mazara.

Kiley McDaniel did a chat over at Fangraphs, where he had a couple of items on Brinson, saying he's likely going to be the high person on Brinson this offseason, and praising the improvement in his hit tool.  He also calls Mazara "super impressive."

Meanwhile, over at BP, Chris Crawford raves about Mazara's ceiling in a chat session.

Keith Law, meanwhile, mentions both Brinson and Mazara as players who got consideration for his 2015 Prospect of the Year (which went to A.J. Reed), calling Brinson an "elite defender in center field" and praising Mazara's approach and bat speed.

Really excited about these two players, you guys...
