Luis Ortiz, the 2014 Texas Rangers' first rounder, is the subject of a piece by Mark Parker over at his Crawdads Beat blog.  Parker has some quotes about Ortiz, and Ortiz talks about his background and how he got to where he is now.

Parker also has a blog post up with celebration photos from Hickory celebrating their South Atlantic League championship, which they won yesterday.
