Good morning, folks...

Stefan Stevenson's game story talks about the Rangers' resilience.

T.R. Sullivan has a write-up of yesterday's defeat.  Sullivan also looks at a pair of close calls that went against the Rangers last night, with the first one getting Jeff Banister ejected.

Gerry Fraley has a game report from yesterday.  Fraley also says Texas suffered a letdown yesterday after an emotional four game sweep of Houston.

Katy Clarke has a story on the role Prince Fielder and Adrian Beltre have played in getting the Rangers to first place.

T.R. Sullivan talks about the Rangers keeping loose in the middle of a pennant race.

Kevin Sherrington writes that the Rangers have to show they can beat an A.L. West team besides the Astros.

Before the season, Will Leitch predicted the Rangers would go 66-96.  With the Rangers blowing that away, Leitch has a mea culpa where he sets forth 10 reasons to root for the Rangers.

Winning also seems to be helping the ratings, as Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday's games produced the three highest ratings of the year for the Rangers on FSSW.

The S-T's notes talk about Robinson Chirinos's imminent return, TV ratings, and the team's home record.
