Off Topic: There's water on Mars

NASA scientists say they've found strong evidence liquid water flows intermittently on Mars

Okay, folks, this isn't baseball related, but I'm kind of a science nerd, and think this is pretty cool, so I'm going to do a post about it...

NASA says there is strong evidence that there is liquid water on Mars.  Like, now, not millions of years ago.

The existence of liquid water is thought to be a necessary element for the existence of life as we know it, and the presence of water there makes the possibility that there was (or is) some form of life on Mars more likely.

It also would seem to increase the likelihood that, some day, we will be able to establish a colony on Mars, which is what is particularly exciting about this, to me.  I would desperately like to live long enough to see the day where we have a permanent colony or station on Mars, or the moon, or another such body.

So yeah, this is pretty awesome...
