Monday Morning Texas Rangers Update

The latest news on the Rangers and Labor Day

Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning. You could make the argument that yesterday was Labor Day for the Rangers as they labored for nine innings of trash dick baseball.

Katy Clarke had the misfortune of writing the recap on the Rangers' 7-0 loss to the Anaheim Angels.

Jeff Wilson writes about Colby Lewis struggling yesterday while the inability for the offense to get the big hit on the current road trip culminated in a shutout.

Evan Grant wonders if the Rangers should skip Lewis to give him a breather after three tough starts even though Lewis says he's fine.

David Adler of MLB.com has more on the Rangers' struggles with the bat during this road trip.

Adler previews tonight's series opener in Seattle as the Rangers finish up their season long ten-game road with a four-game series against the Mariners.

Finally, for no real reason other than it makes me laugh:

Have a nice Labor day.
