Lewis Brinson's breakout season in 2015 earned him some accolades from Baseball America, who named him the center fielder on their 2015 Minor League All Star team.
We've been talking about Brinson quite a bit lately, especially in the second half of the season, when he went from high-A High Desert to AA Frisco to AAA Round Rock. Brinson has a combined .332/.403/.601 line on the season, and BA notes that his .601 slugging percentage was second only to A.J. Reed among qualified minor leaguers.
Kiley McDaniel also praised Brinson (and Nomar Mazara) in his chat session yesterday.
