Saturday morning Rangers news and links

Dan Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, everyone...

I hope you all followed goET yesterday as he live-tweeted the entire run of the old ABC series "Dinosaurs" while watching the entire thing for 24 straight hours.

Gerry Fraley has a piece on Delino DeShields giving up his #7 uniform number, which Pudge Rodriguez wore during his MLB career, paving the way for the Rangers to retire #7 (should they choose).

Tim Cowlishaw says the Rangers "desperately need" a righthanded power bat like Yoenis Cespedes.

The DMN has photos looking at how various Rangers have changed over the years.

And Josh Hamilton sold his home in California for $12.5 million on New Year's Eve.

That's all we got today.  Hopefully, things will pick up when we get closer to spring training.
