Friday morning Rangers news and links

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, folks...

Looking at the winter storm that is hitting the East Coast, I am very glad I live in Texas...I have always taken the position I do not want to live where there is snow.  If I want to see snow, I will go somewhere and visit it, but I don't want snow coming to me...

T.R. Sullivan has a story on new Rangers hitting coach Anthony Iopace, who wants his hitters to grind out every pitch in every at bat.

Anthony Andro writes that Mitch Moreland is enjoying an offseason where he's not having to rehab an injury.

Gerry Fraley has a write-up on Rangers pitching prospect Connor Sadzeck.

Four Rangers came out to Poly High School's fundraising banquet for the team's baseball team yesterday.

The S-T has some notes on Colby Lewis's weight loss, Mitch Moreland's arbitration case, and FanFest.

Fraley writes that Mitch Moreland needs to focus in his last season before hitting free agency.

Joey Gallo and Ryan Rua opted to skip winter ball this offseason, though for different reasons.

And the Rangers released the list of folks who will be doing autographs at FanFest this year.
