Good morning, everyone...

With his preferred target, Doug Fister, off the market, Evan Grant looks at possible pitchers the Rangers could go after as depth.  Yovani Gallardo is one of those that Grant mentions, though I don't see Gallardo as a "depth" guy...that's someone you'd be spending a lot of money on to be one of your set rotation guys.  With Nick Martinez, Chi Chi Gonzalez, Nick Tepesch, A.J. Griffin, and the other arms the Rangers have, I don't think finding a Gallardo, or another veteran starter who would require a major league deal and a spot on the 25 man roster, should really be a priority.

The Rangers have unveiled their new spring training hats and uniforms, and, well, they are hats and uniforms.

Lewis Brinson and Nomar Mazara are among the top 10 outfield prospects on the MLB Pipeline list.

Dodgers AA manager (and one-time Ranger) Ryan Garko has praise for Bobby Jones, who managed Garko when he was in the Rangers' organization.  Jones is on Jeff Banister's staff this year as replay coordinator.
