The Rangers also announced the organizational award winners, with Nomar Mazara getting Minor League Player of the Year and Andrew Faulkner getting Minor League Pitcher of the Year.

Cesar Ramos was signed to a minor league deal, and while he has been a reliever in the past, he will be a starting pitcher candidate this spring.

Gerry Fraley continues his countdown of the Rangers top 10 prospect with a look at Jairo Beras, who Fraley has at #8.

Stefan Stevenson has some notes on the signing of Cesar Ramos and the announcement of the winter caravan.
