Good morning.
Evan Grant begins his series of looking at offseason issues for the Rangers with thoughts on offering Yu Darvish a contract extension.
Bud Kennedy of the Star-Telegram writes that a Star-Telegram poll shows the new stadium vote in Arlington is in danger of failing because the Rangers aren't appealing to the people who actually vote.
Jim Bowden thinks the Rangers' offseason to-do list should include re-signing some of their own free agents (maybe), adding a starting pitcher (sure), and improving the bullpen (no).
Chris Gigley of The Hardball Times writes about baseball returning to Kinston, NC thanks to the Rangers desire to get the hell out of the California League.
Finally, baseball's biggest whiner Jose Bautista is implying in the media that the ALCS is rigged because the umpires are allowing the Indians to live on the corners and aren't forcing them to throw balls over the plate.
Man, I'm not making excuses here because Toronto beat the crap out of the Rangers but I'd say the Blue Jays easily won the poor calls/strike zone war in the ALDS so Bautista can go screw as far as I'm concerned.
Have a nice day.
