Good morning, folks...

Today is the final day of the regular season. The Rangers have nothing to play for, as they’ve already clinched the division and home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Instead, watch Baltimore, Toronto and Detroit, as they battle for the right to play a Wild Card Game for the right to play the Rangers in the ALDS.

The Rangers lost to the Rays yesterday, 4-1.

Stefan Stevenson’s game story has Colby Lewis saying he is ready to go for the playoffs.

The DMN has their “Three Takeaways,” and says the score of the game was less important than Colby Lewis logging innings.

Evan Grant has a story on Jonathan Lucroy and how much he cares, both about what happens on the field and what happens off the field.

Jeff Banister praises his coaching staff for their work this year.

He also says not to make assumptions about who pitches in Game 1 of the ALDS for the Rangers.

Levi Weaver has his Baseball Texas Daily, with notes on Shin-Soo Choo and Colby Lewis.

The S-T’s notes talk about Choo, Martin Perez, and playoff tickets.
