Texas Rangers playoff schedule:  The Texas Rangers ALDS Games 1 and 2 will once again be mid-day starts, so go ahead and put in your requests to take off of work now.

MLB has released the post-season schedule, and Texas got the earliest possible game times in the first two games of the American League Division Series.  Texas is slated to play Game 1 against the winner of the Wild Card Game at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, and then Game 2 at noon on Friday, October 7.  All the ALDS games will be televised on TBS.

On the more positive side, Game 3 of the ALDS, on Sunday, October 9, will be at 6:30 p.m., so the Rangers at least get a prime-time slot there.  If a Game 4 is needed, it would be on Monday, October 10, and a Game 5 would be on Wednesday, October 12.  No times for those games have been determined yet.
