Rangers minor leaguers expected to be charged in hazing incident

At least four Rangers minor league players are expected to be charged with sexual assault, according to Jeff Passan, after a hazing incident where several players “held down . . . and masturbated” an underaged teammate. The incident was apparently sent out on Snapchat.

The incident reportedly occurred at the team’s Dominican academy, and Passan says the Rangers reported it to police in the Dominican Republic on November 9, after a staffer learned of the incident.

Passan specifically mentions catcher Yohel Pozo and infielder Rougned Odor (younger brother of major league second baseman Rougned Odor) as among those expected to be charged.
