Good morning.

T.R. Sullivan expects the Rangers to be busy at next week's Winter Meetings now that baseball still exists.

One of Jim Bowden's BOLD PREDICTIONS!! for next week is Jon Daniels will actually do something at the Winter Meetings for the first time ever.

The Rangers are one of ten destinations that Phil Rogers finds is a fit for free agent CFer Dexter Fowler. That's a third of the league, Phil. That's not nearly BOLD enough.

Sullivan writes that Cole Hamels was named the Rangers' Pitcher of the Year which makes sense since he was on his way to winning the Cy Young award until his monkey paw wish to be the most handsome, talented man began to wear off in the final month of the season.

Evan Grant writes that the new CBA could help the Rangers when it comes to signing Latin youngsters in that though they won't have a wallet advantage (or A.J. Preller's kidnap shack), they won't be penalized for actually trying to acquire talent like they were in the last CBA.

Jeff Wilson reacts to the new CBA and how it will affect the Rangers while giving a preview of the needs Texas needs to fill heading into the Winter Meetings.

Finally, Jeff Passan writes that the relative status quo of this CBA keeps the gravy train moving for now but could set up for labor apocalypse five years down the road. Just in time for the grand opening of Guy Fieri Field in Arlington!

Have a nice day.
