BP Texas Rangers top 10 prospect list

Baseball Prospectus has their top 10 prospect list for the Texas Rangers out, and its an interesting list, with the 4-5-6 combo of Anderson Tejeda-Brett Martin-Yeyson Yrizarri jumping out.

There’s a mention of Michael Matuella undergoing Tommy John surgery again, which I hadn’t heard, and need to verify...but if that’s true, that means a lost 2017 season for the 2015 3rd rounder. UPDATE -- No Tommy John surgery for Matuella. That has been corrected.

Meanwhile, their “under 25” list is noteworthy, with the first five players on the list all having exhausted prospect eligibility status, and Chi Chi Gonzalez making the cut at #10.
