Maybe we've been deceived and the Rangers' bullpen isn't actually good at all? Sam Dyson is the latest to blow a lead late for the Rangers and Nick Martinez picked up the bullpen's 12th loss of the season which is weird since the Rangers have only lost eight times.
Anyhow, the Rangers wasted a two-RBI day from Elvis Andrus and an all around outstanding game from Ian Desmond. But that sounds overly sour as the game itself was pretty fun to watch, especially Nomar Mazara momentarily saving the Rangers from defeat in the 10th inning by snagging a game-winning home run at the wall from Todd Frazier.
Player of the Game: Desmond might be officially out of his slump to start the season as he hit his second home run in the last three games while also drawing three walks, stealing two bases, and scoring the go-ahead run in the 7th and tying run in the 9th, both off the bat of Andrus.
Up Next: The Rangers close out their series with the Chicago White Sox tomorrow afternoon with Derek Holland making the start against RHP Mat Latos.
