Sunday morning Rangers news and links

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning everyone...Opening Day is just one day away!  Well, for the Rangers anyway...there are some games today, but they aren't the Rangers, so I'm not counting them...

Texas lost the spring finale yesterday, 3-1, to the Indians.

Evan Grant has "Three Takeaways" from yesterday's game.

Derek Holland says he's not throwing as hard as he has in the past, but his movement and location are better.

Levi Weaver has notes from Jon Daniels speaking yesterday, including JD pretty much acknowledging that yeah, A.J. Griffin is the #5 starter.

Daniels says that the Rangers generally don't engage in contract negotiations during the season, but Adrian Beltre could possibly be an exception.

The Rangers want to avoid a repeat of 2015, when they dug themselves a big hole with a slow start.

Jeff Wilson writes that the Rangers have built what they believe can be a World Series team.

Stefan Stevenson looks at the Rangers' bullpen over the past six seasons (although the headline says five seasons).

The S-T has a story on what to expect with the new entertainment venue being put up by the Rangers and the City of Arlington by the Ballpark.

The Rangers have replaced their old light fixtures with new LED lights, which my son, who is obsessed with light bulbs, would probably find fascinating.

The S-T's notes talk about the Opening Day roster, Bryan Holaday, the new lights, and Cole Hamels.

T.R. Sullivan's notes talk about Phil Klein, Adrian Beltre, Cole Hamels, and various guys with injuries.
