Texas Rangers Opening Day:  The schedule of events, game time, how to watch, what channel, what station?  We have you covered...

The Texas Rangers kick off their 2016 season against the Seattle Mariners on Monday, April 4, 2016.  Here's the times you need to know (all times Central Daylight Time):

The parking lots at Globe Life Park will open at 10:00 a.m.

At Globe Life Park itself, gates will open at 12:00 p.m.

Rangers batting practice will take place at 12:10 p.m.

Mariners batting practice will take place at 1:10 p.m.

The player introductions will kick off at 2:43 p.m.

The national anthem will be sung at 2:57 p.m. by someone named Neal McCoy, who, I've been assured, is a country singer of some renown.

The ceremonial first pitch (or first pitches) will be at 3:00 p.m.  Bobby Jones and Tom Grieve will be doing the honors.

Cole Hamels should throw the first pitcher of the Rangers' season at 3:09 p.m.

If you are watching or listening from home, the game will be televised on Fox Sports Southwest, as well as ESPN.  FSSW will have their Rangers Live broadcast starting at noon, so you've got three hours of pre-game stuff to whet your appetite.

And if you are listening on the radio, you can hear the game on FM 105.3 in English, and on 1540 AM in Spanish.

Okay...I think that's everything.  If there's anything you think I missed, let me know, and I'll add it in an update.
