20-15 - Relentless Rangers take series from White Sox

The Texas Rangers apparently refuse to lose at baseball

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Four days ago the Rangers trailed 5-2 and won 10-5. Three days ago the Rangers trailed 2-0 in the 8th and won 8-3. On Monday the Rangers tied the game twice with runs in the 8th and 9th before succumbing in extra innings. Last night the Rangers were down five runs heading into the 8th after a long weather-delayed night and eventually won 13-11. Today, the Rangers trailed 1-0, 4-2, 5-4 before finally winning 6-5.

These Rangers appear to be especially resilient.

Player of the Game: Prince Fielder was 2-3 with a walk, two doubles, and two RBIs. Other than just the production, it was nice to see Fielder have a bunch of good at-bats.

Up Next: The Rangers have a day off tomorrow and then open a series with the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday. R.A. Dickey will make the start for Toronto with Martin Perez taking the bump for Texas. First pitch of Friday's opener is scheduled for 7:05 pm CT.
