There's a new poll out from Public Policy Polling, that looks at the sports landscape for professional sports. 42% of respondents said that they were fans of major league baseball, which was second among all sports, behind just the NFL.
Some of the more interesting items have to do with some specific issues relating to baseball, bat flips are approved of by a 48-31 margin, while, to my surprise, fans are opposed to the DH by a 65-25 margin.
Among all sports fans, "The Wave" was approved of by 56% of respondents, while just 18% disapproved. It would be interesting to see this broken down for just MLB fans, but alas...
