Purpose pitch to Jose Bautista: Matt Bush has no comment

Matt Bush, when asked if the HBP to Jose Bautista in the 8th inning was a "purpose pitch," has no comment

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Was Matt Bush hitting Jose Bautista intentional?  In the top of the 8th inning, in a 7-6 game, Bush, pitching his second inning of relief for Texas, plunked Bautista to lead off the inning.  Bautista was unhappy, and glared at Bush when Bush was pulled from the game two batters later.  That unhappiness appears to have manifested itself in Bautista sliding hard into Rougned Odor on a potential double play ball later in the inning, precipitating a brawl that will likely get Odor and Bautista lengthy suspensions.

I assumed that, in a one run game in the 8th inning, the Rangers wouldn't intentionally put Bautista on first base as the tying run, bringing the go-ahead run to the plate.  I may be assuming wrong, though...Bush was asked about the pitch after the game, and as you can see from the video below, via the Star-Telegram, Bush opted to go with a "no comment."
