Yu Darvish update: Next Yu Darvish start Sunday

Yu Darvish update: Texas Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish will make his next rehab start Sunday in Frisco for the RoughRiders, going up against San Antonio.

I had been holding out the smallest bit of hope that Darvish might return to the major league rotation after his last rehab start, but he will be making at least one more appearance in the minors before coming back to the big leagues.  The sense seems to be that this will likely be his final rehab start, and he appears to be on target to start for the Rangers at home against the Pirates on Friday, May 27.

Darvish is working his way back after undergoing Tommy John surgery last March.
